Spring Artisan Giveaway
I love meeting ladies who are makers, doers, and creatives. It seems like a lot of us are. There’s a special kinship in my heart for these ladies so I bring you a little spring giveaway of products made by woman-owned small shoppes. Even if you don’t win, I hope you can support these ladies with your business. We have to help each other and when you buy from a local, woman owned business, you are supporting her love, passion, and hard work!
1. Store credit at Faberie.

I bring you Nadya and her sister Anna who co-founded Faberie, artisenal crafted goods. Yarn work, bead work, and pattern design are their passions.
They sent over this merino wool hat & scarflet for the kids. How cool is this scarflet? It stays on because it pulls through a little opening so it can be as snug or loose as desired. I’m a fan.
Weather-wise, needless to say March is in like a lion and staying like a lion here in the great midwest so the scarflet has covered those parts of BabyLoves I can’t really cover when we’re out for a walk in the sling.
The baby wasn’t feeling like being held. Hardcore ab workout squiggles.
And my kitchen is loving these cotton washcloths! The nubby parts make scrubbing at our granite countertop (no harsh scrubbers allowed, much to my constant annoyance due to crusty banana or oatmeal) easy. I’ve been using one for the counter post-meal cleanup, and one for the baby’s face & hands. Parfait! They wash well and have retained their shape and softness.
And I want 20 of these baskets for all around my house. Look around the shop and think about what you’re going to spend your in-store credit on.
2. And lady leggings from me.
Soooooooo want a pair? Jersey knit cotton with a stretch. Blue Aztec for you!!!! Size XS-XL, your choice. I have loved making these and following the #wholeparentinggoods and #ladyleggings hashtags and seeing how people are liking theirs!!
And as you can see, I loved the Faberie wool hat so much, I may have borrowed it. Maybe I hadn’t washed my hair in a week. Maybe I’m not going to tell you.

3. Cuff bracelet from Kiki Koyote of your choosing.
Kris and i met electronically through an insta giveaway via Grace. Turns out we have kids the same ages and live in the Twin Cities! New friend! She makes stunning jewelry and is kind enough to give one of these handcrafted cuff bracelets away to the winner.
She has a beautiful philosophy on jewelry:
“How we chose to adorn our bodies should not be a departure from or an encumbrance on our daily life, but rather a reflection of the beauty we know it to possess. We believe jewelry should be effortless. It should speak to us before it speaks for us. It should call us home and anchor us in who we are and the beauty of now.”
I’m coveting this necklace and maybe like six of these rings?
4. Comfy tee for everyday from That Chic Mom

I met Ellen through blogging and love her new tee line. Comfy and casual but fitted for real ladies with curves, being both sleek and flattering to those curves. She and her five girls have lots of adventures and you can follow them and hear about being a fashionable mama on her blog. She’s offering a Blessed Mama tee in your size of choice of small through extra large.
These are amazing women doing amazing things. Remember my amazing friends who offered the Valentine’s Day giveaway? And the New Mama giveaway? I love supporting small businesses owned by artistic women. Keep up the great work, ladies!
