because i never wear bracelets {{christian bling review & giiiiiiiiiveaway}}

christian bling bracelet

I am not a bracelet person. I’m not even really a necklace person. I’m kinda into earrings but usually wear the same ones all the times. I do love rings, but only wear my wedding ring set.

I became a bracelet person when I saw what Mary had to offer over at Christian Bling. Really truly OOOOH loooooove this one and this one and especially this one.

So when she sent it to me, I squealed. I let out a little piggie sound from my mouth to the surprise of my attending children.

Mary and I chatted a few months back at the Edel Gathering and her unique jewelry company is a blog sponsor! Read our interview here. She’s so kind and loves affording ladies the opportunity to do home sales of quality christian jewelry pieces.

My morning starts with nursing the baby in bed as he falls in & out of sleep, followed by having SuperBoy bound into our room with great enthusiasm at 7:01am, and watching the two of them love it up. SweetPea generally joins the mix closer to 8 and when the hunger pangs start, it’s oatmeal hot off the stove. I may get dressed before breakfast and not slum it in my bathrobe. When I do get dressed (don’t get too excited, it’s a nursing tank) and throw up my hair (just freshly colored::oh!myvanity!), I have tried putting on a little jewelry.

It makes me feel like a lady. Nay, when I pop on this bracelet that sliiiiiiides on (no pesky clasp!!), I feel kinda like a queen.

After breakfast while they pop up and down and all around, I get a chance to run out to the garden before it snows and grab the rest of the swiss chard and raspberries. I wear my bracelet. Looking like a lady queen.

While I gather my thoughts and carry the baby around in the sling, the big kids might perform an impromptu concert for us, or insist on coloring the inside of a huge shipping box that recently showed up. I’m wearing my bracelet, feeling all fancy.

As morning slips through past lunch and onto naps, and I’m disheveled and girding myself to face the long late afternoon before my husband comes, the afternoon in which I pray with the kids, play with the kids, and fix dinner together, maybe even getting a quick run around the neighborhood, I’m rocking my queen bracelet.

It’s funny how just one bracelet can uplift an ordinary day, make an ordinary mood a fanciful and fancied one. Even if your glasses are taped because your son squished them.

Thanks to Mary for the sweet gift and if you wanna have this very same one for your ordinary day to make it splendid, run to the giveaway.

    These are all so lovely, it was hard to narrow it down to a favorite. So I picked 2- “confidence” and “light of life”

    Love that ‘Pray for Us’ necklace. I tend to be more of a necklace or earrings person, but I recently have been wearing an amber bracelet sometimes. =)

    Pretty! I’ve only just realized that bracelets are fun, but generally the jewelry I choose is un-fussy. This is a fun bracelet.

    I force myself to put jewelry on! I realized I have to start looking half decent so my daughters don’t think being a mom means looking bad!:-)

    “Looking like a lady queen.” Ha! Oh my goodness! I love it! I love it, because it’s so true. I wore a bracelet for our family photos (and I actually did my hair), but I felt so luxurious, because I never wear jewelry besides my wedding ring, too. Funny how one piece can make you feel so nice.
